A beautiful summers afternoon can be enjoyed with a drink on our superb and extensive decking area. We also have our own egg-laying bantams, bouncing bunnies and bird life, living in the dovecote for children and families to enjoy whilst relaxing

If that wasn’t enough than our comfortable and cozy interior is very welcoming. Boasting a menagerie of fishing memorabilia and bric a brac and detailed pictures of the salmon pools of the rivers Tweed, Spey & Dee the there is plenty for the eye as well as the stomach.

Our chef tries to source our produce from the bountiful foods our county offers the trout is caught fresh from just around the corner in the river test!! The Plough aims to provide food for everyone, while boasting a delightfully fresh and well cooked a la carte menu we also offer fish specials board dedicated to fresh sea fare bought in daily. Our two course for twelve-pound menu, great food for fantastic value. I f your stay is a short one we also offer take away fish & chips, Our regular patrons from the village enjoy a pint of the fantastic local ales or beers or a glass of wine from our wonderfully stocked wine list while they wait.
